LESTER A. ANDERSON

Lester A. Anderson, 68, of Brink Road, Candor, died at his home Friday, June 4, 1982.

He was born in Endicott Nov. 2, 1913, son of the late Claude and May Allen Anderson.

He was a farmer in the Candor area for many years, and also drove a school bus for the Candor School District for 25 years. He was a member of the McKendree United Methodist Church in Candor.

Anderson is survived by his wife, Marian Slate Anderson of Candor; two sons, David and Gerald Anderson, both of Candor; a daughter, Bonnie Hornbrook of Candor; six grandchildren; two brothers, Dana Anderson of Candor and Claude Anderson Jr. of Owego; and a sister, Apha Castline of Owego.

The funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, June 7 at the Allen-Manzer Funeral Home, Candor. The Rev. Urban F. Cline of Johnson City will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor.

Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Candor Legion Ambulance.
