SHREVEPORT, LA. Celebration of life services for Deacon Gardner Adams, 70, will be 2 p.m., Sunday, December 8, 2013. at Mt Bethel #1 MBC, 12535 Mansfield Rd. Pastor Toussaint Battley Jr., officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m., Monday, December 9, 2013 at the Northwest La. Veterans Cemetery, Keithville, La. Open visitation will be from 12 noon to 7 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Heavenly Gates.
Mr. Adams entered into eternal rest on December 1, 2013. He retired as 1st Sergeant from the United States Army, Caddo School System as Adapted Physical Education Specialist, and was currently serving as owner, Vice President/ Secretary at Heavenly Gates Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years; Joyce Adams, daughter; Gevonia (Rossi) Brown, grandson; Adam Brown, mother; Addie B. Adams, 4 sisters, 5 brothers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
