Son of Robert and Edith Harkinson, he married Edith Harkinson, was widowed, retired, lived at RD Franklin, Sugarcreek Twp, Venango Co, PA, died there of senility and hypertension, per death certificate 42602, whose informant was Mrs. H. M. Deeter of Star Rt, Franklin. Buried Apr 11 1932.

Robert Harkinson, 81, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. M. Deeter, at Sugarcreek at 1 am Saturday, following an illness of seven year's duration. He was born in Philadelphia March 28, 1851.

He spent practically all his life in Venango County, was a lumberman by trade until retiring 20 years ago.

Surviving are children, Mrs. H. M. Deeter, Sugarcreek, Mrs. Ernest Kerr, Oil City, George M., New York, Edward, Sugarcreek; a sister, Mrs. H. E. Gillespie of Kellettville; a brother, James, of Galion, OH; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 pm Monday in Sugarcreek M. E. Church, with Rev. Merrifield officiating. Burial will be in Lamey Cemetery.
