Emma Reitz, age 94, of Kansas City, Kansas, died Thursday, April 29, 2004, at her granddaughter's home. She was born April 22, 1910, in Lincoln, Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 56 years, Peter Reitz; six brothers, and four sisters.
She is survived by her brother, Henry Blitz, Lincoln, NE; sisters, Lydia Powell, Aurora, NE; Betty Pitsch, Seward, NE; her children Jay (Wayne) Corrie, Chicago, IL; Linda Manis, Kansas City, KS; George Reitz, Easton, KS; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Emma had been a member of the Doll Makers Guild since 1984, a Charter Member of the National Doll Club, a member of the Wyandotte County Artists Assoc., and a member of Grinter Chapel Church for more than 50 years.
