In 1957, he married Carol Jean Goodell of Willard, Utah in the Logan Temple. They lived in Kaysville, where they reared three children. He was possessed of an admirable work ethic, and worked for American Greetings for 48 years, providing well for his family.
Larry was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and cherished the opportunity to serve others and he served many callings, including service in the Bountiful Temple with his wife, Carol.
Some of Larry's favorite things were Harmon's fired chicken, root beer like it was from the old A&W Restaurant, and ice cream. He loved tractors and trains, and this great country. He enjoyed all things Christmas, from the decorations to the music, even playing Santa Clause at a number of parties over the years. Larry and Carol enjoyed camping and were part of a number of travel trailer clubs. Larry loved working in his yard and garden, and always preferred outside to in.
At the time of his passing, Larry was survived by his wife, Carol, and three children, 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Les, sister Bonnie, and his friends Chinook, Oscar, and Puff.
