Mr. Bert A Denfip, age 85, of Cunningham, KY, died Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at his home. He was a member of the Briensburg Missionary Baptist Church. He honorably served his country in the Army Air Corp during World War 2.
He is survived by his wife: Mona (Lawrence) Denfip, Cunningham, KY; Sons: Eddie Denfip, wife Cindy, Gilbertsville, KY and Jerry Denfip, wife Teresa, Briensburg, KY; step-son: Dale Harp, Cunningham, KY; step-daughter: Brenda Steele, husband Mike, LaCenter, KY; Brothers: Walter Denfip, Mayfield, KY, Terry Denfip, Dexter, KY, Kenny Denfip, Dexter, KY, Jacky Denfip, Benton, KY; 6 Grand Children; and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife: Dorothy (Noles) Denfip; son: Steve Denfip; parents: Marion and Grace (Spears) Denfip; brothers: John and Don Denfip; and sister: Earline Dexter.
Funeral service will be held at Collier Funeral Chapel on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m, Bro. Joel Frizzell officiating.
Interment will follow in the Briensburg Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2013 at the Collier Funeral Home.
