EASTERDAY, BLANCHE - age 78, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday morning, April 4, 2001, at N.H.C. Ft. Sanders. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors: daughter, Linda Geames of Knoxville; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Richard Wallace of Atlanta; step son, Buford Easterday; son-in-law, Johnny Crass; grandchildren, Cindy Geames of Knoxville, Mark Byrd of Atlanta, and Scott Wallace of Atlanta; sister, Bertha Tarver. Funeral service 8 p.m. Thursday, Mynatt's Chapel, Rev. Tim Wallace officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12 Noon Friday at Bookwalter Cemetery for interment service. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Mynatt's.
