Married, Minnie Elizabeth Williar, 29 Jan. 1879. His home, which was situated a mile and a-half south of Foxville on the road to Catoctin Furnace, which he bought from his father.

Obituary:

Albert Luther Hauver, a well know Frederick county resident, died this morning at his farm home near Foxville at the age of 97. Mr. Hauver who at one time served a term as a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates from Frederick county, resided his entire life on his farm. He took an active interest in the life of the community and was an advocate of good roads and other projects for the betterment. He was a life-long and devout member of Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church and faithfully attended services until several months ago. He was for many years superintendent of the Sunday School and on the church council. His wife Mrs. Elizabeth Williar Hauver, died in 1922. Surviving are three sons, Herman I Hauver, Foxville; Stanley E Hauver, Smithsburg; Pinckney A Hauver, Madison, Wisc. Six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in Mount Moriah church by Rev. Donald Stonesifer. Interment in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state in the church one hour preceding services.
