He was a lifelong resident of this community. He was employed as a salesman for Cocheco Bottling Co. and was a member of the Rochester Lodge of Elks and the Club Victoire.
The family includes his wife, Mrs. Rose (Levesque) LaChance; three sons, Roger LaChance and Donald LaChance, both of Rochester, and Richard LaChance of Eugene, Oregon; a granddaughter; four brothers, Cappy LaChance of Farmington, Romeo LaChance of Rochester, Edgar LaChance of Derry and Lucien LaChance of East Rochester; nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday morning at Holy Rosary Church. Burial will be in the Holy Rosary Cemetery
