Mrs. Kile was born March 20, 1898, in Augusta County and was a daughter of the late Franklin and Mary Catherine Crowe Gilkerson. She later lived in Harrisonburg and Penn Laird.
She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
On Jan. 14, 1940, she married William Harrison Kile, who died earlier.
She was the last member of her immediate family, and her nearest survivors are step-children, nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held 3 p.m. Friday at the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home by the Rev. Jimmy Bruce Murray. Burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
