Elizabeth was a daughter of Thomas Lucas and his first wife. Elizabeth married George Moore; the youngest son of James Moore (born in County Antrim, Ireland) and his wife, Mary Faulkner. Elizabeth and George were wed in 1715 at Saint Barnabas Church in Prince George's County, Maryland. They had nine children; six sons and three daughters.
