Heinrich was the son of Josef Johann Iseke and Franzisca Nolte Iseke. He grew up in Holungen and later moved to Ratingen and eventually lived in Dusseldorf where he passed away. Heinrich's parents and his siblings were the first family to live in the home that is still in the family today. He was married twice during his life time his first wife was Josefa Streicher. They had four children Johannes, Franzisca, Anne, and Johanna. Josefa was born in 1822 and passed away Mar. 8, 1860. Heinrich eventually remarried to Maria Elizabeth Gorge and they had one son Anton.
Two of Heinrich's children left Germany, Johannes sailed to Hawaii and stayed there and married. Franzisca moved to the US and settled in Kansas. Franzisca first married Phillip Wenderott and had three children with him. He passed away in 1899 and she married August Hermstein in 1902.
