Bert Sonneman Dies Early Today
Bert Edward Sonneman, retired druggist of 1209 Burke, died today at 5:20 a.m. at Mercy Hospital. He was a druggist at Columbus, Blue Mound and Fort Scott until his retirement 15 years ago.
The son of T.C. and Mary Elizabeth Yeck Sonneman, he was born at Blue Mound and was graduated from school of Pharmacy in 1913. He married Miss Mildred Moore, May 14, 1960, at Fort Scott. She survives at the home.
Sonneman was World War I veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge, Lotus Lodge of Blue Mound, Fort Scott Scottish Rite and White Shrine and Mirza Shrine of Pittsburg.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Konantz Chapel with Rev. Gordon Zimmerman officiating. Burial will be National Cemetery.
