Dale Burke, 81, of Monticello passed away at 11:13 p.m. on Nov. 23, 2013, at the Lincoln Rehabilitation Center, Decatur.
He was born Aug. 19, 1932 in White Heath, the son of Walter C. and Jennie Todd Burke. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Dianna. He married Judith Vinson on Aug. 2, 1954 in Jonesboro. She survives.
Also surviving are his daughter, Kim Burke; son, Clayton Burke; three grandchildren; one step-grandchild; one step-great-grandchild and brothers, Dareld Burke and Hareld Burke.
He retired as a steel worker from Clifford and Jacobs and he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
