Paul Arthur Agee, 77, 2203 Dewey St, died Thursday Feb 10, 1994 at a Sioux City hospital after a short illness. Services will be 11 am Monday at the Riverside Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Ronald Spears officating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery, Sioux City, with military honors by the American Legion, Monahan Post 64. Visitiation will be 2-8 PM today with family present 6-8 pm and a 7 pm prayer service at the Larkin North Side Funeral Home.

Mr. Agee was born Dec 9, 1916 in Sioux CIty. He attended Central High School, and later married Dorothy M. Sturgeon on Aug 22, 1936 at Elk Point, SD. He served in the U.S. Navy with the Seabees during WWII, 1942-1946.Other than four years with his parents in Chicago, he lived in Sioux City all his life.,a nd in Riverside the past 46 years. He was a Sioux City firefighter for 32 years, workng out of stations 1 and 8 most of his career. He retired in 1977. Mrs. Agee died July 4, 1989 in Sioux City, Iowa

He was a member of the Riverside Lutheran Church, the firefighter's Local 7, the retired firefighter's association, the Boys of 68, the Elk Pont American Legion, and the National Seabees Association.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Robert and Leila of Sioux City, IA; a daughter and her husband, Sue and Roger Friedrichsen of Moorhead, IA; 5 grandchildren: Jeff Agee of Green Bay, WI, Chris Agee, and Molly McCain of Sioux City, IA; Alex Friedrichsen of Los Angeles, CA, and Jamie Smith of Norfolk, NE; and a great grandson, Joseph Agee of Green Bay, WI

He was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Weaver, and a brother, Chester Agee. Pallbearers will be Victor Casey, Jim Schubert, Jim McCrory, Dick Sudtelgte, Paul Schneider, and Ronald Jones.
