Funeral services were held on Saturday March 22, 1986 at 2:00pm from the Congregational Church in Peterson for Zilla Harris. Rev. Richard Koch was the officiating clergyman.
Casket bearers were Kent Langenfeldt, Paul Turtle, Donald Farquhar, Dean Brugman, David Brugman and Michael Hyde.
Burial was made in the Oakland Cemetery near Peterson with the Baumgarten Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Zilla Florence Harris, the daughter of Alec and Margaret Spencely Farquhar, was born Sept. 19, 1895 in Grant Township O'Brien County, la. She attended rural schools near her childhood home.
She was united in marriage to Severt Harris on November 28, 1917. They made their home on the same farm near Peterson, la. for over 60 years.
She attended the Congregational Church at Peterson and the Ladies Church Circle.
She passed away on March 10, 1986 at the hospital in Hartley, Iowa at the age of 90.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1984; two sisters, Lottie and Linda and an infant son, James.
Left to cherish her memory are two sisters, Eva Youde and Celeste Bryant of Spencer, nieces and
nephews, other relatives and friends.
