Mr. Daniell was born November 25, 1922 in Fruitvale, TX, to Benjamin Franklin Daniell and Ella Hobbs Daniell. He went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 19, 2013 in Canton, TX.
Earl married his soul mate, Opal Elizabeth Smith on June 12, 1943. He served his country in the U. S. Army during World War II. He participated in the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign. Brother Earl, as he was known, was a member of the Lawrence Springs Baptist Church near Grand Saline where he had served as deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He and his family resided in Terrell, TX. for many years where he attended the First Missionary Baptist Church and served as deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He taught Sunday School for over 50 years. A student of God's Word he read through the Bible over 50 times and since has listened to the Boble on cassette tape for the past 5 years. Earl retired from Aramark Uniform Service after about 40 years working out of the Dallas plant then transferring to a new Tyler plant where he served as Purchasing Agent. While he and his wife lived in Tyler they attended the Fair Park Baptist Church. Shortly before retirement he and Opal returned to their roots back in Fruitvale where he lived until April of this year.
Surviving are Son, Ronnie Lee & Linda Daniell of Canton, TX, Son, Michael Lynn & Vanessa Daniell of Canton, TX, Daughter, Bonnie Marie& Mac Lewis of Oden, AR, Daughter, Marsha Kay & Freddy Burden of New Baden, TX, Brother, B. F. & Sylvia Daniell of Dallas, TX, Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law, S. B. & Dorothy Burrow of Fruitvale, TX, Sister-in-law, Iva Dee Smith of Longview, TX, 13 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, Host of Nieces, Nephews and other Relatives.
Earl was preceded in death by his Parents, his wife, Opal, Granddaughter, Misty Dawn Daniell Saine, two brothers, Hubert and L. J. Daniell and sister, Zelma Breckenridge.
Pallbearers are 13 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren
Family will receive friends Thursday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
