Services for Opal Elizabeth Daniell, 83, Fruitvale, were held Wednesday, June 21, at the Eubank funeral Home in Canton.
Mrs. Daniell died Monday, June 19, 2006, in Canton.
She was born February 17, 1923 in San Angelo, to the late Arthur Lee and Evie Williamson Smith. She spent most of her life in the East Texas area. She was a member of the Lawrence Springs Baptist Church of Grand Saline where she had taught Sunday School for many years. She was a seamstress.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Spencer, Wylie Oliver, Arthur lee, Jr., and Hulen Smith; sister, Eula Mae Daniels and granddaughter, Misty Daniell Saine.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Earl C. Daniell, Fruitvale, sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie Lee and Linda Daniell, Canton, and Michael Lynn and Vanessa Daniell, Spring; daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie Marie and Kenneth M. Lewis, Oden, Arkansas, and Marsha Kay and Freddy Burden, Orange; brother and sister-in-law, Luther and Iva Dee Smith, Longview; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy Faye and S.B. Burrow, Fruitvale; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, B.F. and Sylvia Daniell, Dallas; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
