Helen P. Green, 68, of 1225 Washington St., Huntingdon, died at 9:20 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, 1986, at the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon. She had been in failing health for the past six months.
Born Aug. 23, 1918 in Saxton, she was the daughter of Custer and Esther (Jones) Fleegal. On May 31, 1947, she was united in marriage to Donald E. Green in Huntingdon.
Her husband survives along with the following son and daughters: Mrs. Ronald (Marilyn) Smith, Mrs. Kenneth (Betty) Shaffer, Mrs. Larry (Nancy) Garman and Deborah Cressman, all of Huntingdon; Mrs. Jerry (Lucy) Vogel of New Jersey and Donald R. Green of Tyrone. There are 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Five brothers also survived: Legora Fleegal of Lewistown; Ralph Fleegal of Hollidaysburg; Harold Feegal of North Carolina; and Paul and Donald Fleegal, both of Huntingdon. Three brothers preceded her in death.
Mrs. Green was of the Protestant faith.
Funeral services ... Wednesday, Nov. 5 at Robert E. Powers Funeral Home, Hutingdon, the Rev. Ashley L. Horner officiating. Interment ... Huntingdon Memorial Gardens, Huntingdon, R.D.
