Paul L. Fleegal, Handyman, WWII vet--
Paul L. Fleegal, 71, of 419 Penn St., Huntingdon, died at noon Sunday, July 19, 1998 at his home.
Born Feb. 12, 1927 in Bedford County, he was the son of the late Custer Levi and Esther L. (Jones) Fleegal.
Surviving are three sons, Bruce, David, and Gary Fleegal; and a daughter, Nancy Fleegal.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and a sister: Legora, William, Ralph, Robert, Harold and Donald "Inky" Fleegal and Helen Green.
Mr. Fleegal was of the Protestant faith.
He was a member of Standing Stone Post #1754 Veterans of Foreign Wars and Frank P. Hommon Post #24, American Legion, both of Huntingdon.
He attended Huntingdon public schools and Huntingdon High School. He served with the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He has been employed for many years as a handyman in the Huntingdon area. Mr. Fleegal was an avid sports fan.
Private gravesite services will be held at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Henderson Township, at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the John B.
