Tell City, Ind.
Mary Thelma Wagner, 90, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born January 31, 1923, in Stevensport, Ky., to the late Charles Herbert and Mary (Stiles) Kellems.
Mary was united in marriage on June 30, 1948, to Forrest O. Wagner, who precedes her in death. She retired from Swiss Plywood after 31 years. Mary was a past member of Evangelical United Church of Christ and she enjoyed crocheting, word searches, cooking and baking and flower gardening.
Surviving are her children, Brenda Schwartz, of Tell City, Keith (Margie) Wagner and Larry (Joyce) Wagner, all of Tell City; a sister, Helen York, of Tell City; grandchildren, Kimberly (Mike) Hall, Kristina (Geoff) Gentil, Kelli (Jason) Brown, Jason (Kelly) Wagner, Jeremy (Ashley) Wagner, Carrie Wagner and Amy (Scott) Lesniewski; great-grandchildren, Devin and Dylan Hall, Lyndsey, Seth, Rylan and Jace Gentil, Bo, Nolan and Kamden Wagner; Jacob and Kathryn Lynn Wagner, Josh, Josie and Jakob Lesniewski; and dear friends, Cleta Dauby and Dorothy Franchville, both of Tell City.
Preceding her in death are her husband and parents; son-in-law, Earl Schwartz; a brother, Herman Kellems; sisters, Infant Stella Ruth, Myrtle Tate and Irene Hammack
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. CST on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Dr. Elmer Shelby will officiate. Burial will follow in New Cliff Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital or Deer Creek Baptist Church.
