I never knew my Uncle Jim. He died in an auto accident just a couple of weeks before my parents were married.

Car Accident in Kansas Fatal to Father of Four
Star Valley relatives received word last week from Kansas City of the death of Harold J. Perry, husband of the former Wyoma Roos of Auburn who was killed in a two-car collision 100 miles from Kansas City on April 1.
Four people were killed in the accident all occupants of both cars. The vehicles were reportedly traveling at a terrific rate of speed.
Mr Perry is survived by his wife and four children. Alice Lee 14; Patricia 11; Steven 9; and Carol Sue 7.
Seven brothers and sister of Mrs Perry members of the Hyrum Roos family formerly of Auburn, attended the funeral services. Included were Mr and Mrs Lamont Heap, Mr and Mrs Louis Turner, Mrs Wilda Simpson, Roy Roos, Wayne Roos and Mr and Mrs Henry Wesley.
Also attending the services was Mrs Maud Walton of auburn, who was visiting in Kansas City.
