CORRE - H.A., 60, Bellefonte, died at Centre County Hospital, Bellefonte, at 7 p.m. Dec. 2, 1966. Born Feb. 23, 1906, in Dunlo, son of James and Anna (Collbert) Corre. Survived by parents, Portage; widow, former Helen Kennedy, and sister, Mrs. Ralph A. Varner, Bellwood, Pa. Attended Portage schools; graduated from Pennsylvania State University with degree in mining engineering in 1930. Employed by Consolidation Coal Co., Fairmont, W.Va., until 1941. Served as captain in Air Force in World War II; stationed at Ellington Field, Houston, Tex. Former manager of operations at Bellefonte Division of Warner Co. Served on faculty of Penn State in general engineering department and as a consultant for the U.S. Bureau of Mines. Member of Phi Kappa fraternity and American Mining & Metallurgical Engineering Society. Member of St. John's Catholic Church, Bellefonte, where funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Rt. Msgr. Thomas J. O'Shea, VF. Interment, Memorial Park. Arrangements by Hindman Funeral Home, Bellefonte.
