He was a native of Richmond County and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by brother, Roy Parrish.
Survivors: parents, Homer Lloyd Parrish ,Sr. and Mattie Sweat Parrish, sisters, Donna Blankenship, and husband, Roger, Patricia Hudnall, and husband, John, all of VA, Brenda Jones, and husband, Mike, of Franklinville, Linda Peace, and husband, Roger, of Trinity, many loving nieces and nephews that he loved dearly and numerous special friends.
