She grew up on the family farm in Dupont with her siblings: Otto (Julie Kitzman), Emilie Luedtke, Martha Oestreich and William (Bertha Dieck). She married August Beyersdorf on November 11, 1889. The couple farmed in Big Falls where they raised their children: Martha (Emil) Marquardt, Albert, Ida (Charles) Schwede, Henry, Sophia (Louis) Redmann, Mary (Arnold) Wendt, Emil, Anna Schroeder, Alma (Fred) Schlender, Paul and Meta., Otto (Emma Lembke). Augusta died on February 16, 1920, in Dupont, Wisconsin, at the age of 50, and was buried in Split Rock on Peace Lutheran Cemetery.The
