William "Norm" Lattell Oct. 28, 1930 - July 2, 2010, Resident of Hayward ---Norm Lattell passed away in the hospital while under doctors' care for COPD. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and resided in California for the past 67 years. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1948 through 1955; he was involved in commercial trucking for 42 years, and eventually had his own trucking business. He enjoyed all sports, traveling when possible, and spending time with his family. Norm is survived by his wife, Eileen, of 58 years; his devoted children (Darryl, Alan, Catherine) and their spouses; 9 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren and a 14th on "her" way. He is also survived by his sister, Maxine Clapp of Manteca, and many nieces and nephews. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather "Papa", great-grandfather and will be deeply missed. Burial will be private. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 166 West Harder Road, Hayward. In lieu of flowers donations to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
