Peacefully at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Thursday, May 11, 2006. Anne McNaughtan (nee MacKenzie) of Dalhousie Station; age 73 years (Retired Nurses Aide, Member of the United Church Women, Elder of St. Andrew`s United Church, Dalhousie Mills and Director of the Glengarry Celtic Music Hall of Fame). Beloved wife of the late Duncan Alexander McNaughtan. Dear mother of Deborah McNaughtan of Perth, Myrna McNaughtan of Ottawa, Morag McNaughtan (Peter Conway) of Barrie, Pamela Giroux (Dan) of Glen Sandfield, Alison McNaughtan of Dalhousie Station and Audrey McNaughtan (George Morrison) of Ottawa. Predeceased by her son, Gordon. Cherished grandmother of Logan, John, Alisha and Joshua. Daughter of the late Henry MacRae MacKenzie and the late Ethel Margaret Grant. Dear sister of Myrna Southam (late Gordon) of Montreal and Alastair MacKenzie (Nancy) of Ponoka, Alberta. Predeceased by her brother, Bruce MacKenzie. Sister-in-law of Linda MacKenzie of Thunder Bay, Aggie Hamre of Cornwall, Jean and Melvin Gardner of Bainsville, Anna-May Wightman of Lancaster and Theodore McNaughtan of Dalhousie Station. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Sunday, May 14, 2006 from 2- 5 pm and 7- 9 pm and on Monday from 12 noon until 1:15 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew's United Church (Round Church) Dalhousie Mills on Monday, May 15, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Andrew`s United Church Cemetery. Donations in memory of Anne to the St. Andrew`s United Church Memorial Fund or Ian MacLeod`s School of Fiddling would be appreciated by the family.
