Mrs. Charles Manning passed away at her home, 728 Pleasant street, Saturday evening, after a week's illness with pneumonia. She was only 27 years of age. Always of a bright and sunny disposition, she brought cheer to all who knew her.
Alvina Lewis Manning was born March 4, 1891. She grew to womanhood in Deerfield, Wis., but since her marriage to Charles Manning has made her home in Janesville. Her death is particularly sad in that she is survived by her husband and three small children: Elizabeth, aged six years; Lillian aged four years and Janet, aged three years.
