Great Grandma Nora was born in Brouillets Twp, probably twn of Logan near Co. Seat: Paris, Edgar Co, Illinois USA....
Nora Waggoner & Thomas Daniel "Tom" Hinton married in Danville, Vermilion Co, Illinois, Tom was born & raised in Newcomb Twp, Champaign Co, ILL, I believe Nora was living & working as a housekeeper in Danville when they met, they had 5 boys....
My mom told me that Grandma Nora had Tom & the boys make her a private bathroom in the house with a tub for bathing, my understanding is they put a metal water trough in attic with water lines down to the tub for her to bathe in her tub.......I find this very interesting & I have a few questions as to how they heated the water in the attic, etc.....she died when I was around 2yrs old so I barely remember her.....
Nora's nationality was German on both sides of her family, a very strong German background, she had the strong German brogue....
