Frank A. Hanel, 48, died this morning at his home, 36 Hagen Ave. He was a lifelong resident of the Tonawandas, a member of the Salem Evangelical and Reformed Church and a World War veteran. He was employed as a millwright at the International Paper Company's plant on Tonawanda Island. He is survived by his wife, Mildred, nee Kohler; a daughter, Jean, at home; a son, Maurice; his father, John Hanel, and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Goll and Mrs. William Rison of North Tonawanda. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Hamp Funeral Home, 37 Adam St. The Rev. Walter F. Hetzel will officiate. Burial will be in Elmlawn.
