Stella Ella [Nesbitt] Tauber did NOT die in McKeesport, PA, she died on Dec. 6, 1959 at her home in Black Oak, Indiana, Lake County, and is buried in the Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond, Indiana, Lake County. She was married on March 2, 1909 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, Allegheny County. Her parents were James Wesley Nesbit and Ella Jordan.

Mrs. Stella Tauber

BLACK OAK-- Mrs. Stella Ella Tauber, 66, of 2376 King St., Black Oak, died Sunday in her home.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Dellenbach Funeral Home, 2580 Colfax Ave., Black Oak. The Rev. Chester Gibson, First Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today. She is survived by five sons, Ralph, Earl, Herschel, Black Oak; Joe, Lloyd, Gary; two daughters, Mrs. James [Gwen] Martin, Black Oak; Mrs. George [Lilly] Connor, Hammond; her mother Mrs. Ella Nesbitt, Hammond; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Mann [Florence], Hammond; Mrs. J.P. [Lillie- Mrs. John Richard] Allsopp, McKeesport, Pa.; 23 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren.

Note- Stella's sister Lillie Nesbit Allsopp was born October 1894, in 1940 lived in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, Allegheny County, but died March 3, 1962 in Younstown, Ohio, Mahoning County. Lillie was married to John Richard Allsopp, born Dec. 7, 1888 in England, he died 1962 in Ohio. Stella's other sister Florence Nesbit Mann died about Sept. 3, 1975 in Lake County, Indiana, her husband Harry Mann died about June 28, 1964 in Lake County, Indiana. Florence had a 1st marriage to Leslie Raymond Cowan.

Note- Stella's son Joe Tauber married June Irene [Adams] Tauber Griffit (died 2012), and has 2 sons. June was the 1st cousin to my mother on the maternal side.
