SENECA, Pa. - Dorothy J. Brazee, of Greenway Ave., formerly of Franklinville, died Saturday (Nov. 2, 2013) at the Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburg.

Born June 11, 1936, in Wirt, N.Y., she was the daughter of Clarence and Mabel Miller Canfield. On June 25, 1960, in Nile, N.Y., she married Robert Brazee who survives.

Mrs. Brazee was a 1954 graduate of Friendship High School and was employed by the Cattaraugus County Nursing Home in Machias and Ten Broeck Academy in Franklinville in food service. Moving to Seneca, she was employed at the Cranbury School District in Seneca, also in food service.

Dorothy was a member of ""The Spirit of Giving"" at Christmas in Cranbury, volunteered for the American Cancer Society and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Seneca.

Surviving besides her husband, of Seneca, are three sisters, Arlouine MaGee of Olean, N.Y., Helen Stives of Girard and Frances (Gerry) Haines of Machias; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Canfield and Clyde Canfield; and two sisters, Marion Canfield and Hazel Mulkin.

Burial will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery in Franklinville.

Memorials may be made to the Venango Humane Society or the Faith Baptist Church.
