Emma B. Stith, 76, 2200 White River Blvd., died today in Parkview Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. She was a native of Racine, Wis., and had lived in Muncie since 1952. She had worked as a cook and waitress in several area restaurants.
Survivors include four sons, James R. Stith of Plymouth, Wis., Robert G. Stith of Muncie, William R. Stith of Springfield, Ohio, and Terry Stith of California; a daugther, Debra Williams of Muncie; a sister, Eva Taylor of Carrier, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Albert, died in 1970. A son, Philip Eugene Stith, and a daughter, Eva Smith, are also deceased.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel. Cremation will follow with burial of the ashes in Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Calling will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
