Charles was married, but evidently his wife died in Burlington some years ago; she was not named in the obituary. Per a McKee family group sheet compiled in 1981, his wife was Mary Eliabeth "Mamie" Elder McKee, born in July 1873. When and where she died has not been listed on the family group sheets - did she remarry? Any information about her would be appreciated.
Survived by several children: Mrs. W. F. March, Glenn D. McKee, and Grace McKee of Kansas City. Preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Lombard in 1918 or 1919.
Their given names were, not necessarily in order: Mildred, Grace, Katherine, and Glenn.
Charles was at one time owner of the Idlewild Hotel in Fairfield.
