Mr. Skipper was a native of Cochran but had made his home in Jones County. He was a retired Truck Driver and worked for White Auto Store for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Elma Mullis Skipper and his wife Izola M. Skipper.
Survivors include two sons, Pete Skipper, Jr. (Mary) of Headland, AL and Ken Skipper (Ginger) of Gray, a daughter Sherry Hamby of Macon, a brother Joe Skipper of Cochran, a sister Pauline Hancock of St. Petersburg, FL, 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
