MRS. T.N. BROWN, LONG-TIME RESIDENT, DIED LAST NIGHT

Funeral of Well-Known Resident to Be held at Home of Daughter on Monday Afternoon.

Mrs. T.N. Brown of Oakwood Park, a well known resident of this county, passed away at her home last night about 12:45. She was 79 years of age at the time of her death.

The Browns have resided in Freeborn county for many years, and Mrs. Brown had lived here for over half a century. Since retiring from farming Mr. and Mrs. Brown have resided in their comfortable place in Oakwood park. Although Mrs. Brown was not particularly active in any organization, except the work of the First Baptist , where she has been a member for many years, she was exceedingly well known.

She was a mother of a large family of children, who with Mr. Brown, now very advanced in years, survive her. They are Mrs. W.A. Brooks of Oakwood Park; Mrs. H.Z. Nelson of Ermina Street; Franklin Brown of Namta, Idaho; J.N. Brown of Jefferson street; Mrs. Calvin Frisbie of Wapato, Washington; I.C. Brown of Mankato; Mrs. Grace Wilhelm of Arlington, Oregon; Mrs. Karl Heutermann of Wapato, Washington; and Miss. Gladys Brown of Seattle, Washington. The latter two will arrive from the west this evening, having been summoned here before their mother's passing. Three children preceded their mother in death including one child infancy, Mrs. Lillian Robertson, and Lyman Brown.

Owing to the road conditions to Oakwood Park, the funeral services will be held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H.Z. Nelson of 210 Ermina street at 1:30 on Monday afternoon and at 2 o'clock from the First Baptist Church with Reverend F. W. Madsen officiating.
