She was married 1st to -- Tappan, and she was married 2nd about 1959 as the 2nd wife of Joseph Henry "Joe" Cramer Sr (1910–1982), and he was the son of John Cramer (1880–1961) and Anna (Gibbs) Cramer (1886–1918).
Marie was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Post #4895 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Living in Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee, she was 84 years old when she passed away on December 28, 2005 at Spring Meadows Health Care Center.
Survivors included a son in Shelton, Connecticut, brother Walter Weatherholtz of Baltimore, Maryland, sisters Ophelia Berry at Newton, Pennsylvania, Jean Farr in Baltimore, Janie Coffman and Mary Funkhouser of Woodstock, Virginia, Doris Barb at Stansbury, Virginia and Judy Ryman in Front Royal, Virginia, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held January 3rd 2006 in the chapel of Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home, and burial was in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Clarksville, with Pallbearers being members of the VFW Post 4895.
