Almeda Acock Rites Held Her Tuesday
Services for Miss Almeda Acock, 87, was held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 in the First Baptist Church with the pastor Rev. Floyd Yeats officiating.
Miss Acock was born in Missouri and moved to Maud in 1890. She has resided here since that time, except for three years when she resided with her sister, Mrs. Mae Smedley, Seminole. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Maud.
Survivors are her sister, Mrs. Mae Smedley, Seminole, and one brother, Frank Wilson, Maud.
Burial was in Cummings Cemetery west of Maud.
