Reginald M "Reggie" Cloward
1927 - 2013
VETERAN

Early Life: Reggie was born March 18, 1927, to Joseph Swen and Ella Maria Morley Cloward. Born youngest of twelve children, Reggie was raised on his fathers farm where he learned the value of hard work.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: Reggie served in the Air Force during World War II, and after returning, lived with his sister's family in Springville. There he met and married the girl next door, Geraldine Ann "Geri" Ewing, the love of his life, for 47 years. Together they raised five children in Springville and Orem and then retired in Ivins, Utah. Geri died in 1997. He then married Marvel Hale and moved to Star Valley, Wyoming, she died in 2003. Reggie worked at Geneva Steel's rolling mill for 39 years, where he applied his great work ethic, often working 12 hour shifts seven days a week. He learned to be a real handyman as he and Geri worked to totally transform their home and yard into a showpiece that they were very proud of. He enjoyed gardening, golf, hunting, fishing and rock hounding with his family. He also enjoyed being a campground host at Lodgepole with his wife for several years, where his grandkids loved to come and help. In 1972, he baptized his wife and took his family to be sealed for time and all eternity in the temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1974. He was a dedicated ward clerk and home teacher for many years. A special thanks to Cove Point Retirement and Amy and Gabriel at Sunrise Hospice for their wonderful care. Reginald M. "Reggie" Cloward passed away peacefully on November 5, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.
