Mrs Saxon was born December 18,1906, in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Clement Eural and Cora Cox Abernathy, was the widow of David Herbert Saxon and a member of Ridgeveiw Baptist Church. Mr and Mrs Saxon formerly owned and operated Saxon's Lunch at Charotte Pipe and Foundry Company for over 30 years before retiring.
Surving are two daughters, Mrs Alice S.Cain of Sneads Ferry and Mrs. Peggy Phifer of Charlotte; one brother, Ralph S. Aberthany of Charlotte; one sister, Mrs Ida A. Smith of Charlotte; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Ballbeares will be David Cain, Michael J. Copeland, David O. Saxon, Ralph Aberthany Jr, William E. Saxon, Harry Poole, and alternate M.R. Huntley Jr.
