Ollie Virginia Boyers, 97, died Saturday morning at Camelot Hall Nursing Home.

Before entering the nursing home, Mrs. Boyers had lived with her son-in- law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Layton Thomas.

Mrs. Boyers was born June 3,1890, in Rockingham County and was a daughter of the late Erasmus and Virginia Houchen Lawson.

She was a member of Fellowship United Methodist Church.

Her husband, Otho D. Boyers, died April 12,1963.

Surviving are eight children, Frances Carrier and Warren C. Boyers, both of Bridgewater, Harry G. Boyers of Port Republic, Mildred Davis of Lacey Spring, Maxine Thomas and Agnes Smith, both of Harrisonburg, Janet Blosser of York, Pa., and Grattan Boyers of Dover, Pa.; 29 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday in East Lawn Memorial Gardens by the Revs. Paul A. Beighley and Raymond Edmonds.

The body is at the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home, where friends may call. The family will also receive friends at the homes of each of the Boyers children.
