The funeral for Teresa Laurene Waggy Bolton, 82, of Harrisonburg will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Muhlenberg Lutheran Church. The Rev. K, Roy Nilsen will conduct the service. Burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Bolton died Jan. 2, 1994, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.
She was born Nov. 24, 1911, in Sugar Grove, W.Va., and was the daughter of the late Perry and Carrie Louella Pitsenberger Waggy.
She lived her early life in Pendleton County, W.Va., and moved to Harrisonburg in September 1946. She was a member of Muhlenberg Lutheran Church, where she had also been a member of the Sophie Moeller Circle and the Women's Sewing Circle.
On May 11, 1929, she married Emory A. Bolton, who died Aug. 3, 1990.
Surviving are a son, Ellis Emory Bolton of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Norma Jean Blair of Richmond and Phyllis B. Pickett of Harrisonburg; two sisters, Jessie Hill of Princeton, W.Va., and Gladys Lambert of Dayton; one brother, Cletus Waggy of Woodbridge; eight grandchildren; two step grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and three step great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. today at the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home.
Friends may also call at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Jim and Phyllis Pickett.
