PRESQUE ISLE - Charles R. Allen, 44, died May 21, 1981, at an Andrews Air Force Base hospital following a long illness. He was born October 1, 1936, Presque Isle, the son of Russell and Annetta (Guiggey) Allen. He served with the U.S. Navy in Korea. Besides his mother of Presque Isle, he is survived by his wife, Gloria (Corriveau) Allen of Presque Isle; two sons, Brice of Presque Isle; and Randy of Washburn; three daughters, Mrs. Mickey (Debra) Thibodeau and Paula Allen, both of Washburn. Mrs. Christopher (Nancy) Ezelle of Loring Air Force Base; one stepson William Mitchell, and two stepdaughters, Sharon Mitchell and Sabrina Mitchell, all of Presque Isle; two sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Pauline) Kennedy of Westfield and Mrs. Charlie (Barbara) Kinney of Livermore Falls; two grandsons, Mickey Thibodeau, Jr. and Jason Thibodeau both of Washburn; two granddaughters, Celeste Linnea Ezelle of Loring Air Force Base and Amy Janet Allen of Washburn; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Graves Funeral Home Saturday, from 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Sunday, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Bernard Patton officiating. Military committal services will be held at Fairmont Cemetery.
