John's death certificate gives his date of birth as June 1850 but he was shown as one year old in the census enumerated on 2 Sep 1850.
John married [Sarah] Elizabeth Wynn in Laurens County on 25 Mar 1877. They had at least two children together: William F. Heath, m. Georgia Ella Crawsby; and Fannie B. Heath.
John married second wife Mary H. (possibly Hawkins) in about 1884, according to the 1900 census. I wasn't able to find this marriage but did find a John I. Heath marriage to Josie S. Hawkins, 25 Feb 1884 in Laurens County.
