Alan Cheramie, 47, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Polly Dantin Cheramie; his parents, Albert Cheramie and Mary Williams Cheramie; one son, Adam Anthony Cheramie; one daughter, Whitney Mary Cheramie; one brother, Marc Cheramie; and one sister, Deborah Pitre.
He was preceded in death by one nephew, Russ Pitre; two nieces, Beth and Dana Cheramie; and his grandparents, Philocles and Cecelia Cheramie and Olanda and Eddie Williams.
He was owner of AMC Lift Boats. He was a freemason and a lifetime member of the Safari Club International.
He was Catholic.
