Funeral services for Mr. George Spergon Pool, 74, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Stanley Funeral Home. Interment followed at Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery. The Reverends Allen Meeks and Lamar Kersey will officiate. Mr. Pool was born in raised in Johnson County. He was the son of the late Willie Earnest and Allie Kite Pool. He has farmed his entire life.
