Adam Dexheimer, aged 75, a former resident of this city, passed away at the Plymouth hospital on Sunday after an illness of a few weeks. For the past five years Mr. Dexheimer had been making his home with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Simonsmeier at Route 3, Plymouth.
He was born in the town of Rhine on April 21, 1874, and had been a Sheboygan resident for a period of about 50 years. His marriage to Katherine Muth took place on June 4, 1898, and his wife preceded him in death on July 16, 1939.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Myrtle) Simonsmeier of Route 3, Plymouth, and Mrs. Arthur (Esther) Rosenthal of Sheboygan; two sons, Ralph Dexheimer of Lead, S. D., and William A. Dexheimer of Sheboygan. Eight grandchildren also survive him.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday at Nickers Funeral home with the Rev. A. George Schmid of Saron Reformed church officiating. Burial will be made in the family lot in Wildwood cemetery.
