Mrs. Louis Willard

The death of Mrs. Melvina Arden, 73, wife of Louis Willard, occurred early Sunday morning after a comparatively brief sickness. She was taken ill a week ago, and passed away at the family home, 262 East Tenth street. Mrs. Willard was born in Oswego and spent all her life here, being well and favorably known, particularly on the East side. Mrs. Willard was a member of Trinity M. E. church, and took part in the activities of that parish. Her survivors, include her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Frank W. Rowland, of Oswego; a son, Frank Arden of Little Falls; two grandchildren, Dr. A. E. Witzel, and Miss Helen Witzel, both of Brooklyn; and two sisters, Mrs. Debby Salisbury, of Hannibal, and Mrs. Susan Boardway, of Oswego.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the family home. The Rev. O'Dale King, pastor of Trinity M. E. church, will officiate.

Funeral services for Mrs. Melvina Arden, wife of Louis Willard, were held this afternoon at the family home, 262 East Tenth street, at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. O'Dale King, of Trinity M.E. church officiating. The bearers were William Bellinger, Walter Bellinger, Joseph Greeney, John Greeney, Edward Boardman, Fred Elkin. Burial was made at Riverside cemetery.
