From the Edwardsville Intelligencer, Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois, Wednesday, May 15, 1889, page 1:
Saturday, William Alfred, the two-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Nic Bosen, died at 12:15 P.M. The funeral services were held at St. Boniface church, Sunday at 3 o'clock. The remains were interred in the Catholic cemetery.
