Mrs. Fulford was born on November 28, 1933 in Ft. Gaines the daughter of the late Robert and Mattie Thompson Plowden. She was a retired bank teller for the Bank of Edison and a member of the Shellman First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by both her husbands, Edsel Callaway, Sr. and Ree Fulford.
Survivors include two sons, Edsel T. (Tommy) Callaway, Jr. and his wife Teresa and Buster Callaway all of Cuthbert, a daughter, Madelyn Callaway of Cuthbert, a sister, Eunice Green of Albany, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the New Bethel Baptist Cemetery Fund in care of Anna Mae Mote at 41 Mote Rd. Cuthbert, Ga. 39840.
